How much does Bešeňová cost?
The standard ticket is the full-day Aqua Ticket. It covers the year-round pools with thermal and fresh water, the year-round water slides, the Fun Tent (Zábavný stan) and the covered Atrium zone (Átrium) with a children’s pool.
Bešeňová sells its tickets in much the same way as Tatralandia: prices are dynamic and change depending on the date, the season and how far ahead you buy. All prices are in euros. One simple rule applies: buying online at gopass.travel is cheapest, the self-service machine costs more and the ticket desk costs the most. Gopass is the online ticket shop where Bešeňová sells its tickets; you buy through your own Gopass account. The most recent full Aqua Ticket price list on the water park’s website is from summer 2025:
| Aqua Ticket, summer 2025 | Adults | Juniors, students, seniors | Children 6-11 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online 2 or more days ahead | €39 | €33 | €29 |
| Online the day before, on the day or at the self-service machine | €41 | €35 | €31 |
| Ticket desk | €43 | €37 | €33 |
Children under 6 get in free.
There are cheaper ways in, too:
- Evening swimming costs €12 online and €15 at the ticket desk. If you are staying with us and just want a few hours in warm water, this is the best-value option.
- Seniors aged 60 and over pay €20 for a full day if they buy online at least 3 days ahead, and €23 at the ticket desk. In spring 2026 (9 March - 29 June) the price was €19 on Mondays, except public holidays.
- The AQUA 5 PASS gives you five full-day tickets for €109 for adults, juniors and seniors, or €99 for children aged 6 to 11. It is valid until 31 October 2026, so it mainly pays off if you go to Bešeňová again and again.
Opening hours in summer and autumn
Bešeňová is open all year round; only the opening hours and the number of open pools change.
- Autumn 2026 (from 1 September 2026): Sunday - Thursday 10:00 - 20:00, Friday and Saturday 10:00 - 21:00.
- Summer 2026 (from 20 June 2026): daily 9:00 - 20:00. The pools, slides and wellness area closed about 15 minutes before closing time.
From 14 September 2026 the Fun Tent and the slide tower are open Monday to Thursday from 13:00 and Friday to Sunday from 10:00. The same applies to the outdoor saunas Salatín, Ďumbier, Choč and Poludnica and to the Ohnište hot tub. If you are going on a weekday outside the summer mainly for the slides, there is no point arriving first thing in the morning.
In autumn, Bešeňová opens some of its summer pools on selected days only; from 26 to 28 September 2026, for example, pools B10 to B13 were open. So have a look at the Opening hours page before you set off.
Thermal water and travertine terraces
The main difference from an ordinary water park is the water. The geothermal water at Bešeňová rises from a depth of 1,987 metres at a temperature of 60.5 °C and is cooled before it goes into the pools. It contains calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron and manganese, large amounts of sulphates, bicarbonates, free carbon dioxide and even lithium.
The mineral water has also formed travertine terraces in the village, which have been protected as a natural monument since 1984. If you are curious about where the water in the pools comes from, they are worth a look before or after your swim.
Pools, slides and saunas
All year round, 9 pools with thermal or fresh water and 7 water slides are open. In summer the seasonal pools open as well, bringing the total to 20 pools and 15 slides and chutes.
To unwind, there is the Harmónia sauna world with dry and steam saunas, plus outdoor saunas with a hot tub. When you buy on Gopass, check whether a particular sauna zone is included in your ticket. The rules and supplements differ by zone and time of year.
The thermal water is warm, so Bešeňová is a good choice in autumn and winter too, when it is too cold to swim in the lake.
With children
Children under 6 get in free. For the youngest, the best place is the covered Atrium zone with its children’s pool, which works in winter too. Older children will make a beeline for the Fun Tent and the slide tower. Outside the summer, bear in mind that on weekdays these only open at 13:00.
With small children there is no need to stay until closing time. The thermal water is warm and children tire quickly in it; two to three hours is often enough. What to pack:
- swimwear, flip-flops and a towel,
- swim nappies for babies,
- a phone with your Gopass account if you are buying online.
Parking and getting there from the cabin
There is a car park next to the complex. From Bosorka Zrub in Liptovský Trnovec it is 16 km to Bešeňová, about 20 minutes by car. Bešeňová lies at the western end of Liptovská Mara lake, so the drive back is short even after dark, following an evening swim.
What to combine it with
If you are trying to decide between the Liptov region’s two water parks, have a look at our comparison Tatralandia or Bešeňová. We have also written a separate guide to Tatralandia, which is just 2.5 km from us.
Bešeňová is a good choice for a rainy day; you will find more ideas for your stay on our summer at Liptovská Mara page. In winter you can combine it with skiing; see our winter in Liptov page.
Back home, you can relax by the fireplace in the log cabin. We are a local host and nobody pays us for our recommendations.
