How much is a ski pass at Jasná?

Jasná does not have one fixed ski pass price. Passes are sold at dynamic prices that change with the expected number of visitors on the day, the date you buy, the weather and whether it is peak or off-peak season. It works like airline tickets: the earlier you buy, the less you pay. Prices at the ticket desks are dynamic too, but according to the resort, buying ahead online at gopass.travel works out better value. Gopass is the online shop where Jasná sells its ski passes.

When we checked on 1 October 2026, we could not find the price list for winter 2026/27, so the prices below are from winter 2025/26 (all prices are in euros). A day pass at the ticket desk cost at most:

  • adults 18 - 59: €71
  • juniors 13 - 17: €57
  • seniors 60+: €57
  • children 6 - 12: €50

A two-day adult pass cost at most €140 at the ticket desk. Online via Gopass, day passes for Jasná sold from €19, over Christmas from €27 and around New Year from €39.

As soon as the dates of your stay are confirmed, check the prices on Gopass. The difference between the lowest online price and the ticket desk maximum was over €50 a day for an adult. For a family with four ski passes for three days, that adds up to a serious sum. If you are waiting for the weather forecast, buy your pass at least a day ahead rather than in the morning at the ticket desk.

Pistes and lifts: north, south and where to go

Jasná is the largest ski resort in Slovakia. According to the resort, it has 51 km of groomed pistes and 19 cable cars and lifts that carry almost 32,000 people an hour. You can ski on the northern side of Chopok, which faces the Liptov region, as well as on the southern side above the Horehronie region.

On the north side, which is where you arrive from Liptovský Trnovec, the main base areas are:

  • Lúčky and Biela Púť: gentler slopes for warming up and first turns. Biela Púť has a children’s ski school, and in the evening there is floodlit skiing here.
  • Vrbické pleso (Grand): from Hotel Grand, the 8-seater SUPERJET gondola runs up to Brhliská.
  • Záhradky: another base area, also served by the shuttle bus from the park-and-ride.
  • Priehyba and Chopok: the higher part of the resort and the way up to the ridge. The resort’s main lift, the Funitel, hangs from two cables and, according to Jasná, runs even in winds of up to 120 km/h. You will appreciate that on the Chopok ridge.

On the south side you ski above Krupová and Srdiečko. By car from Liptov it is a long way round via Čertovica, so it is better to cross over Chopok by lift and come back the same way at the end of the day. Set an alarm for the last lift back to the north side, otherwise you are in for a long taxi ride around the mountains.

Where to park at Jasná

Parking up in the valley is limited. At weekends and on public holidays, arrive early or leave the car further down. The resort’s overview for winter 2025/26:

  • Pavčina Lehota park-and-ride (P5): 450 spaces, free. A shuttle bus takes skiers from here to Lúčky, Záhradky and Biela Púť. It is at the entrance to the Demänovská dolina valley, about 15 minutes by car from the cabin.
  • Lúčky: €10 a day if you pay on site, €7 if you have also bought a ski pass or another product via Gopass.
  • Biela Púť, PREMIUM PARKING: a covered car park right under the lift building. You need to book a space in advance via Gopass; you will see the price for your day when booking.
  • Evening skiing: parking at Biela Púť (P2) and Otupné (P1) was free in the evenings.

With children and skis, the Pavčina Lehota park-and-ride is the most comfortable option. It is free, you do not have to drive round and round the valley, and the bus drops you off at the lift stations.

Ski bus from Liptovský Trnovec

In winter, the free Ski & Aqua bus links Jasná with Liptovský Mikuláš, Tatralandia, Liptovský Trnovec, Liptovský Ján and Bešeňová. Anyone who shows the driver a valid ski pass or the Liptov Region Card rides for free. In winter 2025/26 it ran from 26 December 2025 to 8 March 2026. Check the timetable for winter 2026/27 on visitliptov.sk before you arrive; the Liptov app also shows current departures.

To be honest: the stop is about 500 m from the cabin (a 10-minute walk) and the ride to Chopok takes over 40 minutes, because the bus stops in the villages and in Liptovský Mikuláš. By car you are at Jasná in 25 minutes. The ski bus is worth it if you do not want to deal with parking, or if you fancy an après-ski beer at Jasná. With small children and ski bags, the car and the park-and-ride are more comfortable.

With children and beginners

The MAXILAND children’s ski school (Tatry Motion) is at Biela Púť. Group courses are for children aged 5 to 11 who are just starting to ski, and one lesson lasts 2 hours. Younger children from the age of 3 can have a private lesson with an instructor. Course prices vary by date; you will find the current ones on jasna.sk.

Spend the first few days on the gentle slopes at Lúčky or Biela Púť. If your child cannot stop on their own yet, a full-day pass at Jasná will hardly pay off. For the very first steps, we therefore recommend the smaller ski areas near Liptovská Mara and coming to Jasná only once your child can manage a drag lift. In winter 2025/26 a child’s pass (6 - 12) cost at most €50 at the ticket desk.

Evening skiing and freeride

In winter 2025/26 there was evening skiing at Jasná every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00. The floodlit pistes are no. 10 Chaletová, no. 13 Biela Púť and no. 13a Happy End, 4.3 km in total. The SUPERJET gondola Grand - Brhliská, the Biela Púť - Koliesko chairlift and two drag lifts run in the evening. The first evening skiing of the season was on 28 November 2025, the day the winter season opened. After skiing you are back at the cabin within half an hour, so you can even fit it in after a day at the water park.

Freeride: according to the resort, Jasná has 12 freeride zones. The steep couloirs on the north side of Chopok and on Dereše are for experienced riders; on the south side there are gentle open slopes where you can start freeriding. According to the resort, every freerider should carry an avalanche transceiver, a shovel and a probe, and an avalanche airbag backpack and a helmet are also recommended. Never go into the couloirs alone. The current avalanche danger level is shown on maps and boards around the resort: at Biela Púť, at Grand Jet, at Priehyba, Srdiečko, Krupová and on Chopok.

What to combine it with

For a day off skiing, Tatralandia is 2.5 km from the cabin; both its indoor area and its outdoor thermal pools are open all year. In the Demänovská dolina valley, on the way to Jasná, the Demänovská Cave of Liberty (Demänovská jaskyňa slobody) is open almost all year (closed on Mondays and, in 2026, from 16 November to 26 December) and combines well with half a day on the slopes. You will find more about winter with us on our winter at the cabin page.

In January 2027 Jasná hosts the women’s World Cup giant slalom and slalom (23 - 24 January 2027). Programme, tickets and transport are in our guide to the World Cup Jasná 2027.

After skiing, you can warm up at Bosorka Zrub by the fireplace (firewood is free) and in the infrared sauna. The log cabin sleeps 8 to 10 people and has parking for 2 cars, so two families with skis fit in easily. Check available winter dates by sending a no-obligation enquiry. We are a local host and nobody pays us for our recommendations.
